As much as I love Glocks, I don't like the included plastic sights. Polymer wood is great, but polymer resin is hard to rely on. My first upgrade was always a new set of metal sights and now, my current favorites are Ameriglo front sights and Vickers rear sights. This combination creates a gun with an all-black rear sight and a superior nighttime front sight. The difference is that it does a quick job of capturing your attention and finding a purpose.

Glocks are popular, scope options are everywhere. Popular brands include Trijicon Fiber Sights, Ameriglo I Dots, and Tru Glo models. They are reliable, honest and they have done well. If I were to make just one upgrade to the Glock 19, it would be the new sights.
The factory Glock trigger isn't bad, but it's not great either - a solid 'meh' in my book. The good news is that anyone can do it easily with a simple change of behavior. The Apex Tactical trigger is designed to improve the Glock trigger by making it lighter and by improving the magnetic properties.
The trigger does not affect the Glock Safe Action feature or provide excessive heat to the trigger. The Apex Tactical trigger triggers the Glock 19 perfectly, allowing you to fire quickly and accurately.
The big 'ole honkin' pay to carry guns like the Glock 19 are as big as a boat trailer in a car. Although both have a purpose, they do not work together. The Griffin Armament Micro Compensator is different. It's just a hair favorite more than a thread saver but it offers great frizz reduction.

The Streamlight TLR 7 is one of the first lights designed for handguns and rail accessories like the Glock 19. The light fits perfectly with the Glock 19's design to avoid adding weight and weight. This is probably the easiest Glock 19 upgrade you can do.

What's The Difference Between Glock 17, Glock 19, & Glock 26
Magwells are popular in gun competitions and are usually large, which is good for competition but not for concealed carry. The Magpul Enhanced Magwell is a useful small upgrade that does not add bulk to your weapon and allows for faster loading.
