Advanced Tech Ruger Mini-14/Mini-30 Strikeforce Six-Position Side-folding Stock with Scorpion Butt Insert and Recoil Pistol Grip, Black I bought this from Cabela's Gun Library today - LNIB used "Ruger Ranch Rifle/Mini-14" used in 5.56 and NATO. It has all the accessories (2.5 round board, scope ring, rail, books) and does not look like it has been shot. This is a 583 Mini prefix series, so it has a larger barrel and the "new" Mini-14 upgrade over the old pencil barrel style. I've never had one but like the wood and steel look and want something in 5.56 other than the AR platform (have 2 ARs already) and something without all those "cheat plans" (insert god) if the Virginians Democrats pass an "assault weapons ban" next year. I got it for $779, which is about $50 less than I've seen NIBs for other sellers. I know it's not a good picture, but it's fast. Have some Pro Mag 20 rd steel and 30 rd Tapco gen 2 mags (both have received great reviews in recent years). Now if only I could get around to trying it out - stupid COVID has shut down all our systems.

I really hope the reviews in the magazine are true. I have never had any luck with them. I have a bunch of Ruger factory magazines around 20 plus a few 15's. If you decide you want a front derailleur, get an Ultimak, not an Omega. I'm moving away from the 55 steel case, but I've been using the Wolf 62 steel case with good results.
Prices here must have gone up when Democrats started talking about banning ARs. I have one and like it, although it does not match the accuracy of my AR, just something. One annoying thing is that the thinker tends to fall off when shooting.

I do not plan to shoot this gun at "long range" - max. 100-150 yards, and probably more things in the 50-75 yard target if I hold only iron, so the sniper is not a will; And I don't use any of my rifles for the main thing - I let the guns rest. Saves ammunition and reduces barrel wear.

Yes... $270 for a gas block and stabilizer bar? Don't think so... besides, I haven't played it yet, if it exists. I lit the fire a few times tonight. Hold a little, then pause sharply. There is nothing exciting about the weight, but I think it is average. It's not an easy inspiration, but it's not ridiculously hard either.

After having a 4x lens on me, I learned that the ghost ring is the "best size" for small. The strut moved my one and a half from about 10 inches to about 5 by 100
But like you said, shoot it, we'll see. I think the wood version can be a little bit better than the synthetic one because of the flexibility of the plastic material.
Throw away those Pro Mag magazines, complete waste! Tapco seems to leak every time, as does my company tab.

2X is similar to battery water and gas appliances. The shock produces the best results in improving accuracy...before I lower the barrel and crown it. Another gas station dropped the holes into a nice mess @ 4-5 minutes instead of expanding at 20 minutes.
